Mission As a metrology technician at Soucy, you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring that every component meets the highest industry standards. Your role will involve performing dimensional inspections of parts, managing measuring instruments, maintaining technical documentation, and tracking non-conformities. You'll also participate in continuous improvement initiatives, internal audits, and the professional development of production staff. Your expertise will be essential to maintaining and improving the quality of our products throughout the entire supply chain!In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Operate and program coordinate measuring machines (CMMs)Inspect production parts against drawings and technical specificationsPrepare part acceptance documentation in accordance with customer requirements and internal standardsDesign inspection jigs and draft associated operating instructionsHandle internal and external nonconformities- Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actionsPerform periodic calibration and verification of measuring instrumentsTrain production employees on the use and maintenance of measuring instrumentsDo you have an eye for detail and a drive to ensure excellence?
