In this position at Kookum’s Place Daycare, you will take a prominent role in supporting early childhood educators and aligning practices with Indigenous values. Your hands-on mentorship will enhance the quality of play-based learning, ensuring that educators are equipped to meet the diverse needs of children aged 2–6. Engaging with the Director, you’ll help facilitate smooth day-to-day operations and professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide mentorship in early childhood classrooms • Assist new educators in their transition to roles • Model effective caregiving and observation practices • Coordinate training opportunities for staff • Enhance curriculum implementation with cultural insights
