Join SIX AXLE TRANSPORTATION LTD. in Regina as a full time Compliance and Safety Specialist. This role prioritizes compliance and incident management within our trucking fleet.
As a vital member of the team, you will oversee daily safety operations and ensure adherence to regulations. You’ll track Hours of Service for drivers, administer drug testing, and conduct safety training and orientations. Communication is key as you work with drivers and management to uphold safety standards and mitigate risks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform driver Hours of Service monitoring using ELD software
• Record and investigate incidents, including collisions
• Schedule and lead monthly safety meetings
• Open and manage accident claims efficiently
• Ensure timely completion of truck and trailer services
Requirements:
• At least 1 year in trucking safety or compliance
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and document management tools
• Excellent communication skills for effective training
• Ability to prepare files for audits
• Experience in monitoring safety practices
