With a focus on sustainability, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating fieldwork, assessing hazardous materials, and supervising contractors on various projects. The position requires a robust understanding of environmental regulations and protocols, alongside experience in contaminated site environments. Strong mentoring and supervisory skills will help foster junior staff's qualified growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and conduct environmental site assessments
• Collect and analyze soil and groundwater samples
• Oversee compliance with provincial regulations
• Prepare detailed reports on investigation findings
• Manage and supervise subcontractor activities
Requirements:
• Technical Diploma or bachelor's degree in relevant discipline
• Minimum 3 years in environmental sampling and management
• Direct experience in contaminated site assessments
• Strong detail orientation and communication abilities
• E.I.T. or G.I.T. registration preferred
