Butcher (Permanent)
Yeonheedong Foods Ltd. is looking for a Butcher to join the team.
Employer: Yeonheedong Foods Ltd.
Location: 2810B Spring Street, Port Moody, BC, V3H 4C5
Hours: 30-40 hrs/wk (Full time)
Wage: $24-25 per hour (Overtime pay 1.5x regular wage for >8hrs/day, >40hrs/wk)
Benefits: 4% vacation fee or 10 days paid vacation
Responsibilities
- Trim, debone, and prepare various meats for cooks and customer orders.
- Craft meat for special presentations, shaping, lacing, tying roasts.
- Manage inventory, maintain records, assess quantity, variety, freshness.
- Adhere to safety standards: HACCP, CFIA regulations, food safety protocols.
- Ensure optimal storage conditions to guarantee freshness and safety.
Qualifications
- Completion of secondary school required.
- Experience is an asset.
- Proficiency in English communication required.
