Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable Safety Administrator with strong computer and communication skills. This role is ideal for someone who values a stable Monday–Friday schedule, with occasional overtime and incident reponse, and enjoys working directly with clients to improve safety performance.
Applicants must currently live in Fort St. John or the surrounding area.
Relocation is not being offered for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct workplace inspections, hazard assessments, and incident investigations.
- Support safety consultants in an administrative capacity, in the development of policies, procedures and programs.
- Support clients with COR/SECOR audits, maintenance, and readiness.
- Deliver safety orientations, toolbox talks, and online compliance.
- Prepare clear, professional reports and maintain accurate documentation.
- Communicate effectively with clients, both in writing and verbally.
- Represent the firm professionally during site visits and meetings.
Qualifications
- Safety experience or training is considered an asset, however we are willing to train the right person.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in an administrative or client-facing role.
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, digital forms, report writing).
- Strong verbal communication and client‑facing professionalism.
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain a consistent weekday schedule.
