Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aide to provide essential support to a elderly male client living in his own home. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for senior. This role involves assisting the client with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety, and fostering a supportive environment and interacting and socializing to ensure there is social and cognitive stimulation.

Day shifts 10:00-3:00 pm and 5:00-9:00 pm 7 days a week

Responsibilities

- Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, and dressing for client
- Maintain cleanliness in living areas and assist with light housekeeping duties.
- Assist the client with mobility and transfers when necessary.




- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of client.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to supervisor.

Requirements

- Previous experience in senior care, caregiving, or related fields is preferred.
- Solid communication skills and a compassionate demeanor are essential.
- Must be able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Certification as a Health Care Aide or equivalent training is required along with a Police Check.
