Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aides to provide individualized care to a handicapped adult (male). The ideal candidate will support patient with daily activities, personal hygiene, medication administration, and emotional well-being, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. Prior experience as health care aid with adults is an asset.

Duties

- Assist with daily living activities such as showering, dressing, grooming, and mobility (lift transfers).
- Assist with medication administration.
- Document care provided accurately.
- Help with light cleaning duties.
- Meal assistance: prepare, serve, clean up.
- Work collaboratively with family member and other care givers to deliver comprehensive care.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in hospital, nursing home, or home care environments preferred.
- Knowledge of patient care techniques including medication administration.
- Strong care giving skills combined with compassion, patience, and empathy.




- Ability to adapt to the specific requirements of the individual rapid and with consistency.
- Being open to feedback to improve certain specific requirements in handling the patient is essential.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with transfers safely.
- Excellent communication and listening skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Certification in care giving or relevant training is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Hours:
- Tuesdays 9:30-12:30
- Thursdays from 9:30-12:30 or 14:30
- Fridays from 9:30-14:30

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
