Duties

- Assist residents or clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Support seniors and individuals with disabilities through compassionate caregiving tailored to their unique needs
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as required, ensuring dietary restrictions are respected
- Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
- Monitor residents’ health status, report changes promptly, and document care activities thoroughly




- Provide dementia care by engaging residents in meaningful activities and maintaining a calm, supportive atmosphere

Experience

- Prior experience working in home care environments is an asset
- Demonstrated experience in senior care or caregiving roles that involve assisting with daily routines and personal care tasks
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or those requiring specialized dementia care is preferred
- Ability to handle cleaning, meal preparation, and basic household tasks efficiently and safely
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, residents, and families
- Compassionate attitude combined with a proactive approach to providing high-quality care is a must
