KCL Cattle Company Ltd. is looking for a Heavy-Duty Mechanic Apprentice to join our team in Southern Alberta. This is a hands-on position responsible for keeping our trucks, agricultural equipment, trailers, and feedlot machinery safe, reliable, and operating efficiently.

What You'll Do
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy-duty trucks, agricultural equipment, trailers, and feedlot machinery
- Perform preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, engine, and mechanical systems
- Complete repairs safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
- Assist with welding and fabrication as required
- Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records
- Keep the shop, tools, and work areas clean and organized
- Work closely with operations to prioritize equipment repairs and minimize downtime
- Follow KCL safety procedures, including proper lockout and PPE requirements
What We're Looking For
- 2nd or 3rd Year Heavy-Duty Mechanic preferred
- Experience with agricultural, construction,
or heavy equipment is an asset
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Welding and fabrication experience is an asset
- Valid driver's licence required
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
