CiviCorp Excavation Inc. is a growing civil construction contractor specializing in excavation, earthworks, and site development across Nova Scotia. We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our field crews and help keep daily site operations running safely and efficiently.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, and dozers safely and efficiently on civil construction sites.

• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance, and report any issues to the supervisor.

• Maintain awareness of surroundings, crews, and site conditions at all times.

• Coordinate with the Foreman and ground crew using hand and radio signals.

• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.

• Follow all safety policies and procedures, and perform other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience





• Minimum 3 years of heavy equipment operation experience.

• Class 5 valid driver's licence.

• Strong safety awareness and mechanical aptitude.

• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform repetitive tasks.

• Valuable communication skills and the ability to work as part of a crew.

• Heavy Equipment Operator certification is an asset.
