Do you enjoy and excel at customer service, but also take pride in taking ownership, solving problems, and getting things done?

We are looking for a responsible, proactive, and hands-on High-Rise Condo Concierge / Building Operations. This is more than a traditional Concierge position. The successful candidate will play an important role in the day-to-day operation of the building, taking responsibility for building issues, emergencies, restoration, repairs, contractors, and ongoing projects while providing excellent service to residents.

Are you a team player who can also work independently? Are you organized, a strong communicator, calm under pressure, and comfortable dealing with residents, contractors, trades, and unexpected situations?

If so, we’ve been looking for YOU for our Team!

Qualifications

- 2+ years of customer service, concierge, property management, building operations, or related experience.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple situations and priorities at the same time.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
- Strong written and verbal English skills.
- Comfortable using computers, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, CCTV, access control, FOB/intercom systems, and other building management systems.
- Previous experience with high-rise buildings, maintenance, restoration, construction, or property operations is an asset.

Primary Responsibilities- Building Operations & Emergencies

- Act as a primary on-site point of contact for building operations and emergencies.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to water leaks, flooding, equipment failures, security incidents,

elevator issues, and other urgent building matters.
- Take ownership of building issues and ensure they are followed through to resolution.
- Conduct regular building walkthroughs and identify leaks, damage, cleanliness concerns, mechanical issues, safety concerns, pests, noise, and other deficiencies.
- Promptly communicate issues and provide updates to Property Management and Facilities.

Restoration, Projects & Contractors

- Coordinate and follow up on restoration work, including water damage, flooding, and other building incidents.
- Monitor ongoing building projects, repairs, maintenance, inspections, and deficiencies.
- Coordinate access for contractors, trades, technicians, inspectors, and service providers.
- Work with Property Management, Facilities, contractors, and residents to ensure projects and repairs are progressing properly.
- Follow up on outstanding work and ensure deficiencies are addressed.
- Maintain appropriate documentation, photos, incident reports, and project updates.

Concierge & Resident Services

- Maintain a welcoming and professional environment for residents and visitors.
- Coordinate resident moves, elevator bookings, pre- and post-move inspections, and related procedures.
- Communicate and enforce building rules and bylaws in a friendly but effective manner.

- Respond to resident questions, concerns, and building-related requests.
- Monitor CCTV and building security systems and assist with FOB, access card, and intercom administration.
- Assist with fire testing, inspections, preventative maintenance, filter changes, and other building programs.
- Complete daily reports and maintain accurate building and incident records.

The Person We’re Looking For We are looking for someone who takes ownership rather than simply reports problems.

If there is a leak, emergency, restoration project, or building issue, you are the person who helps coordinate the response, gets the right people involved, communicates what is happening, documents the situation, and follows up until the job is complete.

You are reliable, accountable, organized, calm under pressure, and willing to take responsibility for the building and its residents.
