The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced, reliable Home Service Technician to join us on an initial contract basis. As we scale, there is a clear path for this role to evolve into a permanent employment position.

What You Will Be Doing:

- General Maintenance & Assembly: TV mounting, picture hanging , door repair, adjustments, and hardware replacement.
- Appliance Work: Replacing appliances and executing appliance swaps.
- Drywall, Paint & Flooring: Patching small holes, repairing water-damaged drywall , interior and exterior painting , as well as flooring repairs, upgrades, and replacement.
- Mechanical & Safety Tasks: Fixing leaking drains, replacing faucets and toilets, clearing clogged drains, changing furnace filters , replacing outlets or switches, installing lighting fixtures, and installing or replacing smoke detectors.
- Exterior Work: Landscape and lawn care,



fence and deck repairs, siding repairs, irrigation work, pressure washing, and light gardening.
- Site Services: Handling light to heavy truck loads for disposal services.

What You Bring to the Table:

- Proven, hands-on experience in residential maintenance, tenant improvements, or renovation work.
- A broad mechanical skillset and the ability to troubleshoot and solve everyday residential issues.
- Your own reliable transportation (truck or van preferred) and your own tools.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with tenants, homeowners, and our central dispatch team.
- Comfortable using mobile apps to receive dispatch tickets, upload photos of your work, and close out jobs.
- Note: As this starts as a contract position, you must be registered as an independent contractor (WCB coverage and liability insurance).
