Duties

- Develop and implement personalized lesson plans aligned with homeschooling standards and Christian values, ensuring comprehensive coverage of core subjects such as Math, Reading, Writing, and Science.
- Deliver engaging instruction through various methods, including virtual lessons, hands-on activities, and interactive discussions that cater to different learning styles.
- Assess student progress regularly through assignments, quizzes, and informal evaluations; provide constructive feedback to encourage continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and curriculum progress using Learning Management Systems (LMS) or other digital tools.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of students with diverse learning requirements, including those requiring special education accommodations.




- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians to discuss student achievements, challenges, and next steps in the educational plan.
- Proofread and review student work for clarity, accuracy, and adherence to assignment guidelines; assist with tutoring in areas like Math or Reading as needed.

Skills

- Proven experience working with children in educational settings or tutoring environments.
- Classroom experience that demonstrates effective teaching techniques and classroom management skills.
- Expertise in Math instruction coupled with excellent communication skills to explain concepts clearly.
