We’re looking for a sharp, energetic Host to run the front-of-house flow at Benny’s Breakfast Bar. This position’s hours are from 9:00 AM to 1-2:00 PM, and it’s a key role in keeping our busy, high-volume, 50’s-style diner running smoothly.

This isn’t just about greeting and seating. You’re the first impression, the waitlist coordinator, and the eyes and ears of the dining room—anticipating when tables are about to flip and keeping the next party ready. You’ll use Yelp Waitlist to manage guest flow and help keep service efficient—even during the wildest brunch rushes.

What You’ll Do

Greet guests warmly and professionally

Manage seating and guest flow using Yelp Waitlist

Accurately enter guest info and page customers at the right time

Anticipate when tables are finishing up so the next guests can be seated quickly

Clearly and calmly explain wait times and first-come, first-served policy (when asked)

Maintain a clean and welcoming front entry and waiting area

Jump in to wipe or clear a table only if needed to avoid delays in seating

Stay alert, stay in motion—this is a high-flow environment
