We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host to be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a positive and memorable experience from the moment they arrive. As a Host, you will be responsible for greeting guests with enthusiasm, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth seating and service flow. Your friendly demeanor and excellent communication skills will set the tone for an outstanding hospitality experience, making every guest feel valued and comfortable.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly with a lively and positive attitude, making them feel immediately welcome
- Manage reservations efficiently using POS systems such as OpenTable, and coordinate seating arrangements to optimize flow
- Answer incoming phone calls with professional phone etiquette, providing information and taking reservations as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized host stand area, ensuring all materials are stocked and presentable
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and guest service delivery
- Handle guest inquiries or concerns promptly, demonstrating excellent customer service skills
- Assist in managing waitlists during busy periods while maintaining a friendly and engaging demeanor
Requirements
- Previous experience in guest services, serving, or hospitality is highly preferred
- Robust communication skills with the ability to interact professionally via phone and in person
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service in fast-paced settings
- Familiarity with hotel or restaurant experience is beneficial but not required
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
