Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Housekeeper to join our motel team at Deacons Corner for an immediate 3-month contract.

The successful candidate will be responsible for keeping guest rooms and common areas clean, comfortable, and ready for guests. We are looking for someone who works efficiently, pays attention to detail, and can work independently.

Duties

- Clean and prepare motel guest rooms following check-outs and during guest stays as required
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, sinks, showers/tubs, toilets, and other surfaces
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replace towels
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
- Dust furniture, fixtures, windowsills, and other surfaces
- Empty garbage and dispose of waste properly
- Restock toiletries, towels, and other guest room supplies
- Clean and maintain common areas as required
- Report damaged items, maintenance concerns, or unusual conditions to management
- Keep housekeeping supplies and work areas organized
- Assist with deeper cleaning when required
- Ensure rooms are completed efficiently and to the motel's cleanliness standards

Requirements
- Previous housekeeping, hotel/motel, janitorial, or cleaning experience is preferred




- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Ability to complete cleaning duties efficiently within the scheduled hours
- Comfortable standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive cleaning tasks
- Good communication skills
- Must be available to work approximately 4 hours per day, 7 days per week
- Reliable transportation to Deacons Corner is strongly preferred due to the location
