We are one of Old Montréal's larger licensed boutique hotel operators. Our suites are booked by travellers who expect hotel standards, and we are building a permanent housekeeping team.

We are ONLY considering candidates with real hotel housekeeping experience. You must have worked as a room attendant or housekeeper in a hotel, a résidence de tourisme, or a serviced-apartment operation, and be able to name the property, the years, and your daily room quota.

Residential house cleaning, office cleaning, commercial janitorial or post-construction cleaning experience does NOT qualify for this role. We will not respond to those applications. We say this directly out of respect for your time and ours.

*A MAJOR PLUS: short-term rental experience on top of hotel work. If you have both, say so, you go to the front of the line.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Guest suite turnovers

*Full turnover between guests: beds remade to hotel standard, bathrooms, kitchen, living areas, floors, windows, mirrors, appliances

*Restock all amenities, linens and supplies

*Hard deadline: suites with a same-day arrival must be guest-ready by 4:00 PM *Complete the checklist and submit timestamped photos for every unit

Deep cleaning

*Monthly deep clean of each suite on a rotation, inside appliances, behind and under furniture, baseboards, vents, grout

Laundry

In-house laundry on site: linens and towels washed as separate loads, machines running throughout the day

Retire stained or worn items and report low inventory

Building and common areas

*Building frontage and entrance, sidewalk, lobby, hallways, stairwells, elevators (interior, tracks and door frames), laundry room,



garbage and recycling rooms

Light in-unit tasks

*Smart-lock batteries, AC/heating panel resets, breaker resets, garbage containers *Report any damage or maintenance issue immediately, with photos

- WHAT WE REQUIRE
- 2+ years of HOTEL housekeeping experience — MANDATORY and verified by reference
- Able to name the property, your supervisor, the years worked, and the rooms assigned per day
- Short-term rental experience (Airbnb / Vrbo / Booking), strongly preferred
- Absolute reliability and punctuality, our schedule is built around a 4:00 PM guest arrival and it does not move
- Comfortable working from a written checklist and documenting with photos on a smartphone
- Physically able: stairs, linen loads, a full active day
- Weekend availability (Friday to Sunday are our busiest turnover days)
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- French or English; both an asset
- WHAT WE OFFER
- $20.00 – $23.00/hour depending on experience, top of the range for a robust hotel background with short-term rental experience
- Guaranteed full-time hours, 35–40 per week
- Month quality bonus, a month with zero cleanliness complaints and complete checklists
- Statutory holidays, vacation pay, CNESST, you are an employee, not a subcontractor
- All equipment, products and uniforms provided
- Buildings walking distance from each other in Old Montréal — no car needed
- Paid trial shift before we both commit
