We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Housekeeping Attendant to maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas. This role is essential in providing guests with a comfortable and welcoming environment, ensuring high standards of hygiene and presentation are consistently met. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and experience in hospitality or custodial services.
Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and common spaces
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Restock amenities like towels, toiletries, and linens to ensure guest satisfaction
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies to uphold health standards
- Assist with laundry duties as needed and ensure proper handling of linens and cleaning supplies
- Provide courteous service to guests, addressing any special requests or concerns professionally
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality environments preferred
- Knowledge of hotel cleaning procedures and standards is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Robust attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks for extended periods
- Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a high level of hygiene standards
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor to enhance guest experience
