Hourly-Rated Sessional Music Faculty are needed to teach solo performance, or small ensemble performance for the following instrument(s):
- Cello
- Drums
Term: Fall/Winter 2026-27 (September 8, 2026 to April 7, 2027) (Exam Period: April 9 to 22, 2027) Location: In-person Delivery on Campus
Projected Enrollment: 1 student
Wage Rate: $83.31 per hour
Start Time and Duration: TBD
Course Description/Relevant Employment Duties:
Intensive study of the technique and repertoire of any solo instrument or voice adhering to a particular style (such as Western classical, Broadway, jazz or pop), or individual instruction in composition.
Weekly one-hour meetings per term; one or two terms
Required Qualifications:
Professional and educational background in the field; extensive teaching experience in the study of the technique and repertoire of applicable instrument(s).
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience teaching at a university or college level.
