Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Housekeeper/Room Attendant and play a vital role in creating a welcoming and spotless environment for our guests. In this energetic position, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will ensure every guest experiences a pristine stay, contributing to our reputation for outstanding service.

Duties

Cleaning and disinfecting wash basins, counter tops, toilets, mirrors, tubs, and showers.

Washing and drying glass surfaces.

Loading dishwashers and putting away clean dishes and cutlery.

Washing and drying other items such as pots and pans.

Emptying and cleaning trash containers.

Dusting furniture and fixtures.

Vacuuming carpets and upholstery, moving furniture when required.

Making up beds and changing linens as required.

Replace dirty linen and used amenities in bathrooms.

Sweeping, and mopping floors.

Restocking room supplies such as glassware, coffee, and writing supplies.

Checking all appliances are in working order and reporting any deficiencies.

Checking vacant rooms and reporting or performing any required touch ups.

Assist with cleaning the public areas, washrooms and elevators when required.

Realign furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout.

Respond to guest requests for additional items.

Observe and report damage to hotel property.

Requirements

No education or skills required we can train however experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality housekeeping roles is preferred





Familiarity with hotel or industrial cleaning standards and procedures is highly desirable

Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, lift moderate weights, and perform physically demanding tasks comfortably For the safety and security of yourself and others you must be able to understand and communicate in English.

Pending performance we provide a wage increase following 6 months of employment.

There is also a summer bonus program where you can earn up to $2 more per hour for every hour worked from June 15th to October 15, rules of the program will be discussed upon hire.

There is fully furnished shared accommodation available for full time employees within walking distance to work.
