Resort Housekeeper – Cabins & Glamping

Seasonal Position | 2 Positions Available

Half Moon Lake Resort, located approximately 20 minutes outside Sherwood Park, is looking for two experienced, reliable Housekeepers to join our resort team.

This position focuses on preparing and maintaining our glamping domes and cabin accommodations to ensure every guest arrives to a clean, comfortable and welcoming space.

What You'll Be Doing

Your primary responsibility will be the cleaning and preparation of our guest accommodations between stays, including:

- Cleaning and preparing glamping domes and cabins to resort standards.
- Making beds and changing linens.
- Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms and kitchens.
- Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping.
- Cleaning decks and outdoor guest areas as required.
- Replenishing towels, toiletries and guest supplies.
- Removing used linens and transporting clean linens to accommodations.
- Restocking housekeeping storage areas and cleaning supplies.
- Completing final inspections to ensure accommodations are guest-ready.
- Reporting maintenance concerns, damages or missing items promptly.
- Following proper procedures for cleaning products and personal protective equipment.
- Respecting guest privacy and personal belongings at all times.
- Helping create a welcoming and memorable experience for our guests.

As part of the larger resort team, you may occasionally be asked to assist with other light resort or guest-service duties when required.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must have

- Previous professional housekeeping or accommodation cleaning experience.




- Reliable transportation to and from Half Moon Lake Resort. Due to our location outside Sherwood Park, applicants must be able to reliably commute to scheduled shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
- Good organization and time-management skills.
- The ability to work independently and efficiently without constant supervision.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- The ability to manage multiple accommodation turnovers during busy periods.
- A positive and professional attitude when interacting with guests and coworkers.

Availability This is a seasonal position supporting our summer resort operations.

Applicants must be available to work weekends and holidays, as these are some of our busiest accommodation turnover periods. Hours may vary depending on occupancy and guest bookings.
