Housekeeping Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team and help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, hands-on, organized, and takes pride in delivering exceptional results.

Position Summary The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring all guest rooms and public areas meet company quality standards. This role includes team leadership, scheduling, inventory management, quality assurance inspections, and assisting with cleaning and laundry operations as needed.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct daily quality assurance inspections of guest rooms and housekeeping areas
- Supervise and support a housekeeping team of 6–8 staff members
- Assist with cleaning guest rooms and laundry operations as required
- Create and manage staff schedules to ensure operational coverage
- Oversee daily housekeeping department operations
- Maintain linen PAR levels and monitor inventory usage
- Order housekeeping supplies, linens, and cleaning materials as needed
- Ensure all rooms and public spaces meet cleanliness and presentation standards
- Train, coach, and motivate housekeeping staff




- Address performance concerns and support ongoing staff development
- Maintain accurate departmental records and reports
- Report directly to the General Manager
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and workplace standards

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of housekeeping experience within a hotel or resort environment
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Robust attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lead and manage multiple staff members effectively
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic
- Motivated, dependable, and punctual
- Takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest service
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as required
