Position Summary|職位概述

We are seeking a hands-on and resourceful HR professional to support our employees and business leaders across North America while coordinating closely with our headquarters in Taiwan.

This position serves as a key HR point of contact and is responsible for delivering day-to-day HR operations, employee relations support, recruitment, performance management, policy implementation, employment compliance, workplace health and safety, and HR projects.

The successful candidate must be comfortable working independently in a quick-paced, multicultural, and multi-jurisdictional environment. The role requires the ability to balance employee needs, operational priorities, legal compliance, and organizational requirements while maintaining confidentiality and professional judgment.

Key Responsibilities|主要職責

1. HR Business Partnership and Employee Relations | 人資夥伴與員工關係

- Serve as a primary HR point of contact for employees and managers and provide practical guidance on HR policies, workplace expectations, attendance, performance, conduct, documentation, and employee-relations matters.
- Coach managers on addressing employee concerns, workplace communication, performance issues, corrective action, and other people-management matters.
- Receive and assess employee concerns and complaints, facilitate appropriate resolution, and support fair and confidential workplace investigations when required.
- Promote respectful workplace practices and assist in managing workplace conflict, accommodation matters, and sensitive employee situations.

1. Recruitment and Employee Lifecycle | 招募與員工全週期管理

- Manage or support full-cycle recruitment, including job descriptions, job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviews, reference checks, offers, and hiring coordination.
- Coordinate employment agreements, employee information, onboarding, orientation, probation tracking, employment changes, and internal transfers.
- Support leave administration, accommodations, employee departures, exit interviews, offboarding documentation, and related follow-up.
- Work with managers to identify staffing needs and improve recruitment and retention practices.

1. Performance Management and Employee Development | 績效管理與人才發展

- Coordinate probationary and performance-review processes and ensure reviews are completed with appropriate documentation and follow-up.
- Assist managers in establishing clear performance expectations, development goals, KPIs, OKRs, and improvement plans.




- Identify training needs and coordinate employee and management training.
- Support employee engagement, capability development, retention, and organizational-development initiatives.

1. Employment Compliance and Policy Administration | 勞動法規遵循與政策管理

- Monitor and support compliance with applicable employment standards, human rights, occupational health and safety requirements, and internal policies.
- Research employment requirements and provide practical recommendations for operations in different jurisdictions.
- Draft, update, communicate, and implement HR policies, procedures, templates, checklists, and employment documentation.
- Support matters involving working hours, overtime, leaves, attendance, workplace conduct, investigations, and employment termination.
- Coordinate with headquarters, management, legal counsel, payroll, finance, and external service providers when required.
- 協助公司遵守適用的就業標準、人權、職業健康與安全法規及內部政策。

1. Workplace Health and Safety | 職業健康與安全

- Support workplace health and safety programs and maintain required policies, procedures, training records, inspection records, and related documentation.
- Coordinate or support the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC), including meetings, minutes, inspections, corrective-action tracking, and required postings.
- Support respectful workplace, bullying and harassment prevention, hazard reporting, emergency preparedness, and workplace-violence-prevention initiatives.
- Follow up on identified hazards, incidents, compliance requirements, and corrective actions with managers and committee members.

1. HR Reporting, Systems and Process Improvement | 人資報告、系統與流程改善

- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in HR systems and personnel files.
- Prepare HR reports and analyze workforce data relating to headcount, recruitment, turnover, attendance, performance, leave, and other business needs.
- Develop tracking tools, templates, checklists, and automated processes to improve accuracy, efficiency, accountability, and deadline management.
- Identify gaps in existing HR processes and recommend practical, sustainable improvements.

1. Cross-Border Coordination and Office Support | 跨國協作與辦公室支援





- Communicate and coordinate with headquarters and regional leaders regarding HR programs, employment practices, organizational changes, and assigned projects.
- Translate or adapt HR communications and documentation between Chinese and English when required.
- Support selected office-administration and operational matters related to employees, workplace readiness, company assets, vendors, or internal events.
- Perform other reasonable HR and administrative duties assigned by management.

Qualifications|資格條件
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Labour Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum three years of progressive HR experience, preferably in an HR Generalist, HR Advisor, or HR Business Partner capacity.
- Practical experience in employee relations, recruitment, performance management, policy administration, and employment documentation.
- Working knowledge of British Columbia employment standards, human rights, and occupational health and safety requirements. Experience supporting other Canadian provinces or U.S. jurisdictions is an asset.
- Experience with workplace investigations, JHSC administration, or WorkSafeBC requirements is an asset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Mandarin Chinese and English are required.
- Strong judgment, discretion, attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, sensitive matters, and deadlines with limited supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with employees, operational managers, senior leaders, and headquarters.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; experience with HRIS, ATS, payroll systems, data analysis, or workflow automation is an asset.
- CPHR designation or active progress toward the designation is an asset.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $64,800.00-$79,200.00 per year
