Position Purpose The Health & Safety Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring the company's safety management system, including procedures, audits, and administration. The Health & Safety Coordinator promotes OHS guidelines and identifies, prevents, and reduces current or potential risks. This is a safety sensitive position.

Qualifications & Education The following Skills and Qualifications are preferred but not limited to:

- Post-secondary courses preferred (Occupational Health and Safety Certificate program).
- Warehouse and/or industry experience preferred.
- Forklift experience and/or certifications are considered an asset.
- Previously taken, or willing to acquire, Standard First Aid, including CPR-C and AED, fall protection, elevated work platform training, WHMIS.
- Experience using Microsoft Suite, Inventory Management System (IMS), or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Ability to maintain organization and control in a fast-paced work environment, utilizing critical thinking to problem solve.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds (for example: packages, boxes, material, tools, etc.).
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship building skills.
- Strong time management and organization skills -- ability to multitask and prioritize multiple demands.

Job Duties

- Help develop, implement, and evaluate safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular workplace inspections and audits to identify and mitigate hazards and risks, report findings to management and liaise to ensure corrective actions are completed.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, report findings, and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on safety-related issues and best practices.
- Follow quality service and customer service standards. Represent Quest in a positive professional manner,



leading by example and demonstrating a strong work ethic and high integrity.
- Adhere to all company and safety policies and procedures, remain up to date with training requirements and best practices.
- Ensure working areas are clean, safe, and hazard free, ensuring the safety of other warehouse personnel.
- Help organize and conduct safety training and awareness programs for employees and stakeholders.
- Support new hire orientations, onboarding, and continuous mentorship of employees.
- Help maintain accurate safety records and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in the development of emergency response plans and ensure that they are communicated to employees and stakeholders.
- Participate in the selection, evaluation, and maintenance of safety equipment and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Conduct forklift and fall protection training courses.
- Attend, lead, and/or participate in toolbox meetings and health and safety meetings.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and optimization of processes and procedures.
- Other duties and tasks as required.

Physical Demands

- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 10% of the time.
- Must be able to bend, climb stairs, and continuously stand or walk 90% of the time.
- Must be able to move within the warehouse to access packages, boxes, materials, tools, and machinery, etc.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds (for example: packages, boxes, material, tools, etc.)
- Must be able to communicate effectively by listening and in both written and verbal forms.

Work Workplace

- Generally, works in a warehouse environment but may occasionally be required to perform duties outside of the typical warehouse setting.
- This position regularly requires substantial amounts of time to be spent using and viewing computer screens and equipment, which entails regular and repetitive motions.
- May occasionally be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, or loud machinery. All safety procedures should be adhered to in each of these situations.

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
