As a Security Guard for the City of Cambridge, you'll work within the Municipal By-law Compliance and Corporate Security Division. Your main responsibilities include monitoring areas, responding to security incidents, and assisting with emergency evacuations. With a commitment to respect and inclusiveness, you will engage with the community while enforcing city regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Patrol and monitor city properties for security
• Investigate incidents and maintain security logs
• Activate emergency systems and assist during evacuations
• Provide access to authorized visitors and personnel
• Respond to inquiries and represent security services
Requirements:
• College diploma in Law and Security, or equivalent
• Valid Security Guard License in Ontario
• Experience with investigation procedures
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Clean Ontario Class G driver’s license
