HealthOPM is looking for compassionate Registered Practical Nurses to join our team in the Huron County area. This full-time, part time, and casual role is perfect for those passionate about enhancing the quality of life for seniors.
As an RPN, you will play a crucial role in the retirement community by delivering resident-centered care. You will be responsible for monitoring health, developing care plans, and administrating prescribed treatments. Collaboration with healthcare teams and mentoring Personal Support Workers will also be key elements of your position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver nursing care according to CNO standards
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Evaluate and document changes in residents' health




• Create and implement care plans with the care team
• Supervise and mentor Personal Support Workers
Requirements:
• Registered Practical Nurse with the CNO in good standing
• Recent Vulnerable Sector Check
• Current TB screening and CPR certification
• Previous experience in seniors’ care preferred
• Excellent communication and clinical skills
