About the Position

Vital Air Mechanical Inc. is looking for a reliable HVAC Helper to assist with residential heating, cooling, ventilation, and HVAC installation projects.

The successful candidate will work alongside an HVAC technician and assist with installations, service calls, maintenance, tools, materials, and general job-site duties. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience and build a career in the HVAC industry.

Responsibilities

- Assist HVAC technicians with residential HVAC installations and service work.
- Help install, remove, and replace HVAC equipment and components.
- Load, unload, organize, and transport tools and materials.
- Prepare work areas and ensure job sites are clean and secure.
- Assist with ductwork, ventilation, furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related equipment.
- Follow instructions from the lead technician.
- Handle tools and equipment safely and properly.
- Assist with troubleshooting and basic maintenance tasks as directed.
- Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles in good condition.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and regulations.




- Provide professional and respectful service at residential job sites.
- Perform other general HVAC-related duties as required.

Qualifications

- Previous residential/commercial HVAC training or apprenticeship is an asset.
- Previous experience is required.
- Willingness to learn and develop HVAC skills.
- Reliable and punctual
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Physically capable of lifting equipment/materials and working in various conditions.
- Able to follow instructions and work safely.
- Valid driver's licence is required.
