JET Hydrovac is looking for an experienced Hydrovac Operator to join our team. We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused operator who takes pride in their work and equipment, communicates professionally, and works well as part of a team.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

· Operate and drive and Hydrovac in a safe and professional manner

· Responsible for the successful & efficient completion of hydro excavation projects

· Comply with company policies and procedures, health and safety procedures, department of transportation, and hazardous/waste requirement regulations

· Demonstrate a commitment to safety and environmental compliance

· Work & communicate well with customers onsite, managing the schedule of work requests

· Perform routine maintenance on Hydrovac units to ensure cleanliness and efficient operation

· Complete all appropriate paperwork and documentation, including thorough pre-trip inspections of assigned vehicle

· Perform general housekeeping





· Be on time and fit for duty

· Be available for on call, willing to accept after hour calls when necessary

· Required to wear all appropriate PPE on all job sites

· Identify and assess hazards

Qualifications

· Minimum 2 years hydrovac experience

· Valid class 3 driver’s license with air brakes endorsement

· First Aid/CPR, Ground Disturbance, CSTS, H2S Alive, Confined Space, Fall Protection

· Clean drivers abstract

· Must be capable of working extended hours and variable shifts

· Must be in valuable health and physical condition to effectively perform the duties assigned

· Integrity and reliability

· Excellent communication skills
