The Patient Experience Team (PEX) ensures the patient voice informs Alexion AstraZeneca Rare Disease priorities across development, launch planning, access, awareness, and healthcare system engagement. By connecting insights, internal collaborators, external partners, and patient communities, PEX helps embed patient perspectives into decisions that improve outcomes in rare disease. This coverage role will support the development and implementation of patient recruitment and engagement strategies across Alexion Rare Disease studies. The Patient Recruitment Lead will create integrated, data-driven plans that leverage patient voice, strategic partnerships, healthcare data, digital and non-digital tactics, and emerging technologies to improve recruitment, engagement, and the trial experience. While part of the Global Medical Affairs (GMA) team, this role collaborates closely with adjacent functions, including Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, Patient Advocacy, alliance partners, vendors, and cross-functional collaborators.

Annual base salary for this position ranges from 109,148.80 to 143,257.80.

The range provided in this posting represents an offer pay range used in a majority of situations. The base pay offered will vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including the candidates skills and experience, job-related knowledge, and other specific business and organizational needs. In some cases, offers outside the range may also be considered to address unique circumstances.
In addition, our permanent positions offer an annual Variable Pay Bonus/Short Term Incentive opportunity as well as eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (if applicable to role).
