We are a Markham-based education centre specializing in IB and AP preparation. Our programs combine structured curriculum, proprietary question banks, and an error-tracking system to help students achieve measurable academic improvement.

Responsibilities

- Deliver small-group and 1-on-1 instruction for AP Physics 1 & 2, AP Physics C (if qualified), and/or IB Physics (HL/SL)
- Teach key topics including mechanics, electricity and magnetism, waves, thermodynamics, and modern physics
- Coach students on problem-solving strategies, multi-step calculations, and experimental/data analysis
- Prepare and adapt lesson materials, practice questions, and assessments
- Track student progress and provide explicit, actionable feedback
- Identify areas for improvement and develop targeted study strategies

Qualifications
- 2–3 years of IB and/or AP Physics teaching or tutoring experience required
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Physics, Engineering, or a closely related field
- Strong knowledge of current IB/AP Physics curriculum and exam formats




- Strong mathematical foundation in algebra-based and calculus-based physics
- Demonstrated ability to improve student academic performance
- Strong communication and teaching skills
- Available to teach evenings and/or weekends

Preferred Qualifications
- OCT certification or equivalent teaching certification
- Master's or PhD in Physics, Engineering, or a related field
- Ability to teach AP Physics C (calculus-based)
- Experience supporting students with IB Physics Internal Assessments (IA)
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin is an asset

Work Location: Markham, ON Pay: $40.00-$65.00 per hour
