We are seeking an energetic and dedicated IMMEDIATE POSITION ASSISTANT DIRECTOR to join our dynamic team! Duties
- Support the Director in managing daily classroom activities and program operations to ensure high-quality early childhood education experiences
- Assist in supervising teaching staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to promote professional growth
- Collaborate with team members to develop engaging curriculum plans that incorporate classroom experience and cater to children with disabilities
- Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, safety standards, and best practices in caregiving and early childhood education
- Foster a welcoming environment that encourages positive interactions among children, families, and staff
- Participate in hiring processes by interviewing candidates and assisting with onboarding new team members
- Maintain detailed documentation of program activities, incident reports, and child progress records
Requirements
- Proven classroom experience in early childhood education or related fields
- Demonstrated experience working with children with disabilities or special needs
- Strong background in teaching methodologies tailored for young children
- Knowledge of caregiving best practices within early childhood settings
- Ability to lead and motivate staff while maintaining a collaborative team workplace
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, families, and team members
- Experience working with diverse populations of children and families is highly desirable
