Commercial Washer – Evening Shift

Laundry Lounge Ltd. is currently seeking a reliable, motivated, and hardworking Commercial Washer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in their work, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

As a Commercial Washer, you will be responsible for operating commercial laundry equipment, processing large volumes of linens, and ensuring production flows efficiently throughout your shift. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and the ability to stay organized while maintaining quality standards in a busy production setting.

Position Details

- Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday
- Shift: 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
- Full-time, permanent position
- Overtime opportunities available

Key Responsibilities

- Follow supervisor directions and maintain open, clear communication.
- Contribute to a respectful, safe, and positive workplace culture.
- Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and escalate unresolved problems.
- Operate safely and consistently using required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications




- Eagerness to learn and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically capable of pushing, pulling, and lifting 100+ lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and focus on productivity.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to accept and apply feedback.
- Clear and effective communication skills.

Physical Requirements
- Frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling of up to 100 lbs.
- Standing for long periods.
- Regular walking, bending, crouching, and reaching throughout the shift.
- Handling and carrying of wet linens on a consistent basis.

Mental Requirements
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in sequencing tasks and maintaining production flow.
- Commitment to protected operation and care of all washing equipment.

Work Environment
- Varying facility conditions by season (hot in summer, cool in winter).
- Exposure to noise and heat from machinery.
- All equipment meets safety standards, and PPE is provided and encouraged.

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
