Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Infant Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant teaching team at Nordel Montessori Childcare. In this role, you will create a nurturing, secure, and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers, fostering their developmental growth through engaging activities and personalized care. Your enthusiasm and leadership will inspire young children to explore, learn, and thrive during their foundational years.

Duties

- Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for infants and toddlers
- Provide attentive care, ensuring each child's safety, health, and well-being at all times
- Foster positive relationships with children and communicate effectively with families about their child's progress and needs
- Create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence
- Use strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records of daily activities, developmental milestones, and observations




- Collaborate with colleagues to plan classroom activities and share best practices in childcare and early education
- Document child progress, prepare reports, and communicate with families efficiently

Experience

- minimum 3 years of prior experience working with young children in a classroom or childcare setting is highly preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development stages
- valid first aid certification
- Montessori certification is an asset
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a valuable asset
- Demonstrated leadership skills in managing classroom routines and guiding children’s behavior effectively
- Strong communication skills for engaging with children, families, and team members clearly and empathetically
- Familiarity with computer operation for record keeping, lesson planning, and communication purposes
