POSITION: Team Manager, IT System (Higher Education Learning Management Platform)

TYPE: Permanent , full-time position as an employee

LOCATION: Montreal , hybrid work including 3 days from the downtown office

MANDATORY REQUIRED

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or information systems
- 7+ years of experience leading the operation and continuous improvement of a mission-critical enterprise platform , managing platform upgrades, patching, and configuration
- 4+ years in a leadership/ supervisory capacity overseeing a small team of SW developers and IT analysts
- Excellent collaborator with internal stakeholders, third-party vendors, industry partners, and government officials
- Very positive spoken/written English , and spoken French
- Good planner who instils and follows a structured approach to tackle tasks, flexible to accept challenges of an ever-faster-changing technology landscape

ASSET EXPERIENCE
- Experience with Moodle administration, architecture, upgrades, and integrations
- Experience in higher- education teaching and learning environments, particularly supporting instructional practice
- Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, Scrum
