Join VNFC as a Co-Coordinator for the Women’s Wellness Program. Use your strengths in trauma-informed care to uplift and empower Indigenous women in your community.
As a key part of the Family Wellness Supports team, you will help co-facilitate the Women’s Wellness Program from a culturally informed perspective. Your tasks will include planning sessions, recruiting participants, and modifying curricula to reflect the needs of the group. Additionally, you'll maintain program materials, manage participant statistics, and create detailed reports for funding purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan engaging group sessions for participants
• Adjust curriculum to meet group needs
• Handle recruitment and participant intake
• Maintain accurate program materials and supplies
• Collect data and provide timely reporting
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in Social Work
• Familiarity with Indigenous cultures and practices
• Proven history of curriculum development
• Knowledge in cultural humility and safety approaches
• Valid driver's license and clean record
Utilize your expertise to support Indigenous women on their wellness journeys through the VNFC program.
