We are seeking a skilled Mold Technician who understands the intricacies of plastic injection molding and can thrive in a fast-paced production environment.

Position Overview

As a Mold Technician at SIL Plastic, you will be an integral part of our manufacturing operations. You’ll be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and optimizing injection molding machines to ensure consistent production of high-quality components. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a dedication to precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Set up and configure injection molding machines for production, ensuring optimal efficiency and quality.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to optimize cycle times and material flow.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot molding issues such as flash, warpage, and dimensional variations.
- Perform mold changes, clean and maintain molds, and carry out routine maintenance to prevent downtime.
- Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
- Document production parameters, maintenance activities,



and quality control data accurately.
- Collaborate with production teams to meet daily targets.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mold technology or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Mold Technician with expertise in plastic injection molding.
- Knowledge of mold setup, machine operations, and maintenance.
- Ability to diagnose molding defects and troubleshoot machine performance issues.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
