Role Description The Insurance Broker role at Billyard Insurance Group Inc. is a full time hybrid position based in Uxbridge, ON, with flexibility for some work from home. In this role, the Insurance Broker will advise clients on personal and commercial insurance options, assess coverage needs, and prepare quotes and proposals. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing client accounts, processing policy changes, renewals, and claims inquiries, and liaising with insurance carriers to secure competitive coverage.

provide responsive customer service, and stay current on insurance products, market trends, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge and experience in Insurance Brokerage and Insurance, including personal and commercial lines.
- Understanding of Finance and Retirement Planning to support clients with holistic risk and financial protection strategies.
- Demonstrated Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, listen actively, and resolve issues effectively.
- Relevant provincial insurance licensing (e.g., RIBO or equivalent) or eligibility to obtain licensing within a specified timeframe.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple client files and deadlines.
- Comfort with using brokerage management systems and common office software for documentation and communication.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently in a hybrid work setting.
- Previous experience in an insurance brokerage or related financial services environment is an asset.
