6 month hybrid contract (1 day a week in Ottawa client office)
Reliability Status clearance required (or be eligible to obtain one)
- Compile and debug applications and programs
- Perform manual software testing
- Compile information for and write portions of technical reports and program documentation
- Develop and document manual software testing plans
- Execute and document results of manual software application tests and information and systems tests
- Create testing plans in collaboration with project teams
- Develop documentation of test procedures
- Create and prioritize bug reports with transparent reproduction steps
- Use a suite of testing tools to ensure the accessibility and responsiveness of websites and applications
- Facilitate the UAT process and issue triage
- Work closely with other software testers, designers and developers
Education / Certifications
- Post‑secondary education in a computer science related program (Diploma or BSc preferred)
