We are seeking an experienced Intermediate (Supply Chain ) Procurement Coordinator to support and optimize our company's procurement processes within the engineering sector. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work in the fields of project management, mixed with accounting, payroll and general administration, while supporting a fast-paced group of forward-thinking experts. This role supports procurement efforts.
The ideal candidate is detail-orientated, highly organized, and comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Reporting to the Senior Supply Chain Manager you will participate in a wide range of activities. Please provide a cover letter with salary expectations.
Duties
- Maintain supplier lists and support bid evaluations
- Prepare bid packages
- Expedite and track vendor document submittals
- Source quotations from suppliers, carriers, and freight forwarders
- Coordinate technical clarifications between engineering and bidders
- Complete commercial bid evaluations, issue commercial clarifications (repeated above)
- Issue and expedite purchase orders; resolve delivery issues and discrepancies
- Communicate delays and conflicts to project teams
- Manage PO close-out and generate expediting status reports
- Support procurement strategies aligned with company objectives, focusing on cost savings and quality improvement.
- Build strong relationships with clients, engineers and contractors, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Expedite and track vendor document submittals, track inventory levels, and forecast needs.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
