Internal Auditor

Our client is an established reputable organization within the financial services sector and is looking to add an Internal Auditor to their team.

This is a hands-on opportunity for an audit professional looking to gain broad exposure across the business, with a focus on evaluating processes, identifying risks, strengthening controls, and partnering with stakeholders on improvements.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute operational, financial, and compliance audits across various business areas.
- Support audit planning, scoping, and risk assessments.
- Evaluate the design and effectiveness of internal controls through audit testing.
- Document testing results, findings, and recommendations.
- Identify control gaps and provide practical recommendations for improvement.
- Partner with stakeholders to address control weaknesses and support remediation.
- Support reviews of new processes, systems, and business initiatives.
- Assist with third-party assurance report reviews and internal audit reporting.

What We're Looking For
- 2–3 years of experience in internal audit or a related audit environment.




- Strong understanding of internal controls, risk, and audit methodologies.
- Experience performing audit testing and evaluating business processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
- Financial services experience is an asset.
- CPA, CIA, CISA, or other relevant designation is an asset.
