Join the effort to enhance cultural advocacy as the Gladue Program Manager. Manage team operations and ensure effective report processing while engaging with legal partners. In this impactful role, you will oversee Gladue Writers and manage their report responsibilities.
You will act as a liaison between frontline workers and upper management, ensuring communication flows smoothly among Defense lawyers, Crown Attorneys, and other stakeholders. Your organizational skills will help maintain training and continuous learning for writers. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of Gladue Writers
- Assign work and provide meaningful feedback
- Organize and deliver training sessions
- Build relationships with judges and legal stakeholders
- Prepare and submit necessary Gladue reports Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Effective communication in Inuktitut, English, or French
- Strong understanding of Inuit culture
- Familiarity with Nunavik's judicial system
- Organizational skills and integrity Enhance justice processes by promoting cultural understanding and supporting the Gladue Program in your community.
