A&R; Metal Ind. is hiring an Inventory, Shipping & Packaging Associate to support daily warehouse operations at our Richmond, BC facility. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, processing incoming and outgoing shipments, and packaging finished goods to meet quality and shipping standards.

Pay & Schedule

- Wage: $22.00 – $28.00 CDN per hour, based on experience
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour day shifts
- Occasional overtime as production needs require.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Control:

- Receive, count, and reconcile incoming stock against purchase orders and packing slips
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the inventory management system
- Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with periodic physical inventory audits
- Identify and report discrepancies, damaged goods, or shortages

Shipping & Receiving:

- Verify, and process inbound shipments in line with purchase orders and carrier requirements
- Receive incoming freight, inspect for damage, and log receipts accurately
- Placing incoming materials upon receiving to its designated locations
- Complete required shipping documentation (bills of lading, packing slips, customs paperwork where applicable)

Packaging:

- Package finished parts and products according to work instructions and quality requirements
- Select appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage during handling and transport




- Label packages accurately for identification and traceability
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe packaging work area

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in inventory control, shipping/receiving, warehouse, or packaging role preferred
- Forklift certification (Required)
- WHMIS certification an asset (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic computer skills; experience with inventory or ERP software an asset
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work safely in a warehouse setting
