Join our Mining Environmental Group in Vancouver, where we focus on applying critical thinking to the management of mine waste and water. As a Project Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering multidisciplinary projects that support responsible mining—from concept through closure. This hybrid role offers flexibility, collaboration, and the prospect to manage projects that matter.ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you'll oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale civil earthworks and dam-related projects. You'll work closely with engineers, environmental scientists,
and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with purpose. Your responsibilities will include:Leading project delivery across civil earthwork scopes and multidisciplinary teamsCoordinating environmentally focused projects, including field programs and design solutionsMentoring team members and fostering a collaborative project cultureBuilding strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliersManaging scope, budget, schedule, and risk metrics across multiple projectsApplying project management methodologies to support technical teamsGuiding projects through all phases—from concept to mine closureContributing to best practices and continuous improvementWhat We're Looking ForWe value your leadership and organizational expertise. To thrive in this role, you'll need:Bachelor's degree in civil engineeringPMP certification or equivalent project management credentials10+ years of experience managing civil infrastructure or earthworks projectsProven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and engage stakeholdersExperience developing communication plans and work breakdown structuresStrong skills in tracking schedules, budgets,
quality metrics and earned valueFamiliarity with technical documentation and proposal developmentA safety-first mindset with experience in incident reportingExperience managing teams across national and international locationsExperience with Microsoft Project and Primavera P6.You'll Excel If You BringCreative problem-solving and solution-oriented thinkingA desire to mentor and be mentoredCritical thinking and adaptability in complex scenariosStrong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and colleaguesSkillsThe expected salary range for this position is $110,000 - $150,000 annually. Actual salary offered is based on an individual assessment of applicable education, skills and experience.
