We are looking for experienced
IT Health Monitoring Specialists to support enterprise server and application monitoring within secure IT environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, administer, patch, and maintain enterprise monitoring platforms.
- Add and manage nodes, devices, endpoints, and monitoring agents.
- Implement monitoring for
URLs, Windows clusters, DNS, Exchange, CPU/Disk/Memory, MS SQL, NetApp ONTAP, VMware, NT services
, and related infrastructure.
- Administer and integrate monitoring technologies such as
Splunk, CA UIM, CA Spectrum, SolarWinds, LogPoint, and QRadar
.
- Configure
SNMP, MIBs, SNMP traps, and NetFlow
.
- Develop and maintain scripts using
Perl, VB, Python, Java, and Unix Shell scripting
.
- Support
Windows Server and Linux environments, including package installation, scripting, and log/event analysis.
- Integrate monitoring platforms with other monitoring tools and
IT ticketing systems
.
- Support monitoring solution migrations, upgrades,
and deployments to new VMs/hosts.
- Troubleshoot monitoring issues and provide operational support.
- Customize monitoring solutions within secure, restricted, air-gapped, and network-boundary environments
.
- Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
Required Qualifications
- University degree/diploma in IT or equivalent experience.
- Intermediate:
5–9 years of relevant experience.
- Senior:
10+ years of relevant experience.
- Solid enterprise server and application monitoring experience.
- Hands-on experience with
Windows Server and Linux
.
- Strong scripting/programming capabilities.
- Experience with monitoring integrations, SNMP, MIBs, traps, and/or NetFlow.
- Experience working in secure, restricted, or air-gapped environments
.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, integration, and communication skills.
