Key Responsibilities

Network & Infrastructure

●

Configure and maintain network devices (servers, routers, switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi access points, VoIP phones, printers, scanners, MFA devices) and ethernet cabling

●

Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, connectivity drops, and hardware/software problems

●

Maintain servers, server room cooling, and perform monthly after-hours server reboots

●

Manage daily on-site, off-site, and cloud backups

●

Oversee internal and web DNS, domain names, and VPN connections between stores and remote sites

Systems & Account Administration

●

Create and remove staff accounts (email, MFA, Teams, VPN, Storis, ADT security system)

●

Administer Microsoft Entra, Office 365, Barracuda, KnowBe4, and Screen Connect

●

Maintain intranet and off-site website connection to Storis (Proprietary Software)

●

Manage company mobile devices/contracts and produce monthly mobility reports for Accounts Payable

●

Handle tech procurement

Security

●

Deliver cybersecurity training and monitor network activity

●

Keep software/systems updated; prevent, detect, and mitigate cyber intrusions





Support

●

Provide IT, desktop, and network support (hardware installs, device configuration, connectivity troubleshooting, basic software/login issues)

●

Plan and optimize LAN/WAN performance and security

●

Act as the “go to” contact for Storis software issues, change requests, user maintenance, etc.

On-Call Requirements

Limited after-hours availability for critical issues: ADT/fire alarm alerts (124 Glencoe Ave), branch internet/Storis outages, and Bell Aliant router monitoring across 14 locations.

Qualifications

●

Working knowledge of networking fundamentals and device interconnectivity

●

Experience with routers, switches, and cabling setup

●

Familiarity with Microsoft 365 suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Entra

●

Basic WordPress knowledge
