Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented IT Technician to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential technical support across our organization, ensuring smooth operation of hardware, software, and network systems. Your proactive approach will help maintain a reliable IT infrastructure that supports our company's mission of excellence and sustainability.

Responsibilities

- Provide technical support for hardware, software, operating systems and network issues
- Troubleshoot software problems including Microsoft Office applications and cloud based apps)
- Maintain computer hardware assets, perform upgrades, repairs, and installations as needed
- Manage computer networking components such as LANs (Local Area Networks), firewalls, VPNs (Virtual Private Networks), and routers to ensure secure connectivity
- Support desktop support activities including user account setup, password resets,



and peripheral device configuration
- Assist with the configuration and maintenance of operating systems across multiple platforms

Requirements

- Proven experience in technical support or IT support roles with a focus on desktop support and troubleshooting
- Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows environments
- Familiarity with computer networking concepts such as LANs, firewalls, VPNs, and network security protocols
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware components including computers, peripherals, and network devices
- Excellent communication skills to effectively assist users at all levels of technical proficiency
- Knowledge of software troubleshooting techniques for common applications like Microsoft Office suite
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles related to firewalls and network security measures
