In this full time position, the YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka seeks dynamic individuals to assist in multiple Child Care locations. Here, you'll engage with children, uphold safety, and execute play-based activities that spark curiosity. Your ability to foster connections and communicate with families ensures that every child receives the attention they deserve.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide personal and health care for children
• Safely supervise up to 15 children during activities
• Develop engaging and educational play-based curricula
• Maintain positive communication with parents and colleagues
• Adapt to varying needs of diverse learners
Requirements:
• Age minimum 18 years
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• Standard/Intermediate First Aid and CPR required
• Immunizations up to date per health regulations
• Capability to lift 20 kg and work outdoors regularly
