Responsibilities

- Perform precise repairs on jewelry items, including resizing, stone setting, soldering, polishing, and cleaning.
- Watch battery replacement
- Assess each piece thoroughly to determine the appropriate repair techniques and materials needed.
- Use specialized tools and equipment safely and efficiently to execute repairs with attention to detail.
- Communicate clearly with customers about repair processes, timelines, and care instructions.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs performed, including parts used and procedures followed.
- Ensure all jewelry is handled with care to prevent damage during the repair process.




- Collaborate with sales staff to provide expert advice on jewelry maintenance and preservation.

Skills

- Proven experience in jewelry repair or a related technical field such as goldsmithing or gemology.
- Robust knowledge of jewelry design, materials, and repair techniques.
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail for intricate work.
- Ability to operate specialized tools such as soldering irons, ultrasonic cleaners, magnification devices, and polishing machines.
- Good communication skills for explaining technical repairs to customers clearly and professionally.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification or training in jewelry repair or related fields is preferred but not required.
