We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman electrician to join our team in Victoria, BC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance by pulling necessary permits for solar energy systems in both residential and commercial settings. This position requires a solid technical background, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a customer-centric approach to service.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct system inspections, diagnose issues, and perform necessary maintenance or repairs to ensure optimal system performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to inverters, solar panels, and associated electrical components.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, explaining system functionalities, and offering guidance on energy optimization.
- Collaborate with the installation team and project managers to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
- Maintain accurate records of service visits, inspections, and repairs using company-provided tools and software.

Requirements:

- Journeyman Electrician




- Proficient understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation related to solar installations.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented approach when interacting with clients.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Additional certifications in solar energy or related fields.
- Knowledge of specific brands or types of solar panels, inverters, and energy storage systems.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations pertaining to solar installations in British Columbia.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $35.00-$50.00 per hour
